WHY WE PRINT ON STANLEY/STELLA

When we started Blacksunset, we tested over a dozen blank t-shirts. Gildan, Bella+Canvas, AS Colour, Comfort Colors. Some were too thin. Some felt like cardboard. Some looked great until the first wash turned them into a different size entirely.

For Europe, we needed something better. Something that matched our values — not just in quality, but in how it was made. That's when we found Stanley/Stella.

The Stanley/Stella Creator 2.0 (STTU169)

The Creator 2.0 is Stanley/Stella's flagship tee — a 180 GSM single jersey made from 100% organic combed ring-spun cotton. It's fabric washed for immediate softness, with a medium fit that works for everyone.

Certified Responsible

This is what really sets Stanley/Stella apart. Every shirt comes with real, verified certifications — not marketing buzzwords.

A European Brand for European Customers

Stanley/Stella is a Belgian brand. Their blanks are designed in Brussels and manufactured responsibly in Bangladesh under Fair Wear audits. For a brand like Blacksunset, shipping from EU fulfillment centers, this means our supply chain is cleaner, our carbon footprint lower, and our customers get a product that aligns with European values.

The best t-shirt is the one you forget you're wearing — until someone reads it and smiles.

Why It Matters for Statement Tees

A statement t-shirt needs to be worn. Not hung in a closet. Not saved for special occasions. Worn until the message becomes part of your identity. That only happens if the shirt is comfortable enough to reach for every time you open your drawer.

The Creator 2.0 is that shirt. Available in over 50 colours, soft from the first wear, and made with a conscience. It's the foundation everything we print stands on.

Environmental Impact

Each Stanley/Stella Creator 2.0 produces approximately 2.08 kg CO₂ from raw material to your door, and uses 0.99 m³ of water. By making to order, we eliminate the waste of unsold inventory — the fashion industry's biggest environmental problem.
